W/B 11th December Today during Prayer Club, we focussed on the second Advent wreath candle symbolising peace. We created doves as a symbol of peace and wrote prayers for global peace, especially in troubled regions. We also shared the sign of peace with one another. Promoting Peace is key in our Catholic Social Teaching Principles. Let's continue striving for a world filled with peace and harmony. |

Advent Reconciliation Fr Anton conducted the Sacrament of Reconciliation with the children who had received their First Holy Communions. This is important during Advent as it lets them reflect, seek forgiveness, and approach Christmas with pure hearts, connecting them to the true spirit of the season. |

Collective worship/ Prayer and Liturgy plays a fundamental part of daily school life and enables us all to join together as one in prayer and worship.
Growing Closer to God
In its simplest form, prayer is defined as “talking to God.” It is a personal time of opening our hearts to our Heavenly Father and bringing everything in our hearts to Him. Prayer can be a powerful force for change in our lives, and the importance of doing it on a daily basis is something we strive to instill in our children.
Communication is the foundation for success in any relationship. When we communicate openly and freely with each other, we learn to know each other as individuals. This principle also applies to our relationship with God. By talking to God, we can learn more about who He is and what plan He has for us.
Celebrating Mass together
Throughout the year, Mass is held to celebrate school events and Holy days of Obligation. We are joined by our Parish priest Father Anton. Our Masses are led by our Faith Council. Throughout the year, every class has the opportunity to attend Mass at our local parish. Additionally, we join with parishioners once a term on Sunday to celebrate our school.
Whole School Reflection
Prayer and reflection are the essences of our spirituality. Every day, as a school, we take part in collective worship. We pray and reflect together during whole school assemblies. In class, we think about scripture and reflect upon key gospel values. During this time, we come together as one family to reflect and pray together. Each week, a different class take it in turns to lead pupil-led prayer for the rest of the school.
Prayer Club
Prayer club is held every Tuesday, led by our Faith Council.
