Our Vision & Values
Our Mission Statement
Christ is alive at the centre of our school.
He leads us to our love of learning and creativity, inspiring us to enquire broadly and deeply.
We share the journey together in a welcoming, loving and forgiving way.
Through prayer and reflection, we reach out to everyone, accepting their uniqueness and encouraging them to grow their gifts and talents.
Working together we are changing the world for the better.
Our Vision
Our vision is to be a thriving learning community - the first choice for everyone who shares our high aspirations, determination to do the very best we can, and all with a loving heart.
We intend to be:
An outstanding school
A beacon of hope and service to the whole community
A place of exciting and engaging learning opportunities
The best possible foundation in life and learning for our pupils as they embark on their role in society.
To begin this journey toward the school we are striving for, the Governors have agreed to the following aims for the next five years.
We are working together to establish a school where:
The children’s cultural capital is broadened and deepened through the provision of a range of rich experiences;
Everyone is accepted in their uniqueness, through the warmth and attractiveness of the environment; and
Everyone is able to achieve success.
Our Values
At Holy Family, we have an important role in fulfilling the mission of the church. Our five core Gospel values underpin our attitudes, and beliefs and guide our behaviour. As learning is a lifelong journey, our gospel values guide us along this journey.
Respect
We are not alone in our journey. Respect is the key to building relationships. As children of God, we have a duty not only to respect our friends and teachers but also to show respect to our environment as we are stewards of the earth.
Love
‘Love is the measure of faith’ (Pope Francis)
Love can be shown in many ways. Along our journey, it is important for us to show love to the people around us.
Service
Just as Jesus washed the feet of his disciples, we have a role to serve our neighbours and the wider community. Through fundraising and prayer, we will strive to help the people in our world, our common home.
Faith and Hope
Throughout our journey there will be difficult moments, but our faith will help us to not lose hope. We have faith in our teachers who will help us along the journey. During difficult moments our faith will give us the strength to remain hopeful.
